The beachfront Liberty style villa built in 1923 is part of a group of 1920's-1930's homes located between the Pineta Dannunziana and the south shore of Pescara, the hub being the former Kursaal and then Aurum. The project was based on designing the villa's interior to host the representative offices of a computer company. Our idea was to design the villa's interior based on characteristics of a valuable, timeless and unique space. Unique in the sense of visual continuity encompassing and seen as a whole of installation fittings. The herringbone natural oak flooring across all the piano nobile, the walls, the baseboard, the frames and the original white doors, all lightly molded remain the only historical references to the villa's 1920 period. The wood parquet, the walls and ceilings underline the purist and essential characteristic of the renovation. These are a series of offices designed and planned with the intention of transferring, while in an austere and purist atmosphere, a sense of bright and attenuated domesticity. A space with a strong identity while also being sufficiently neutral to host classic contemporary design furnishings. The entrance is designed as a telescope looking out onto the sea. The main hall has an entirely glassed access that allows a sea view from the corridor of the main entrance. The transparency of the glassed diaphragms immediately highlights to those entering the exceptional location of the "Villa on the sandy shore".
