The beauty center is placed at the ground floor of a medieval building in the heart of the historical center of Florence. The project concerns the transformation of an old bakery in a functional 'beauty center' of 120 m2. The plan, narrow and long, typical of the shops of the gothic florentine buildings, features a sort of interior-exterior space, with the treatment cabins and the service rooms (exterior space) designed as small shops facing an organic, not rectilinear street (interior space), raising slightly from the entrance level to the inner part of the beauty center. The intent is to maintain a space continuity with the exterior environment through a 'medieval pattern' built with pure and functional volumes.
