The project centres on the restoration of a rural house in the Tuscan countryside of Lari, near Pisa. Restoration works included the demolition of elements of the building that had been later additions to its original design, and the rationalisation of the interior layout, in keeping with the simple and minimal design elements of Tuscan rural architecture.
